Chantli Mexican Products

Home in Nahuatl, the Aztec and Nahua Peoples language. A lot of Mexican cuisine comes from
the Aztec Empire, so the brand is named Chantli as a way to represent those roots.
The brand is named Chantli as a call to home for those who grew up with Latine culture,
but find it difficult to get many of the ingredients for staple Mexican cuisine.
For now, Chantli sells Hibiscus Flower, Tamarind, Chile Guajillo, Chile Ancho and Chile Cascabel.

The Process

I started by choosing the best shape and materials to package the products. It had to be something light weight, plastic free and able to open and close more than once.

A window to showcase the product could also

provide the consumer with a view of the quality

and authenticity of the product.

Afterwards a fun, playful and colorful style was chosen to attract the consumer. I sketched out ideas roughly and once I was confident with the sketch I vectorized it on Illustrator.

A logo was also created to bring all the

products together as one brand.

The logo

The logo is the wordmark along with an icon based on a Mexican Milagrito and a pepper.

A dynamic type was chosen for the logo to go with the rest of the fun and colorful branding.
